The moving dust has settled.
Florida is now my home.

So after many months of playing with creative ideas how to make a living doing what I love,
I am right back to the sewing machine.
And the canvas with messy painty hands.
My Big Girl camera spends more time out of the bag and in my hands.
The kitchen is alive again with simmering garlic, ginger, peppers and onion.
And the sound of my VitaMix whirling green things to drink.
Once again I am selling and peddling my creations to those who love what I do.
I am in the early planning stages of offering my first online workshop.
I am involved with hosting local art retreats.
I joined a local Art Tribe of eight women committed to gather every week to create and celebrate!
I am doing what I love. And love what I am doing.

Backstory behind this photo…my neighbors around the corner have luscious flower gardens all along their fence.
I knew I wanted to shoot a joyful-jumping-skipping-delightful photo for this celebratory quote. So a storm was coming and it was nearing dusk. I hurried out the door to capture my final moment. There I was, jumping and skipping with delight along the sidewalk when the homeowner, who I only know by waving when I drive by, suddenly appeared with hands on hips wearing only her nightgown. She glared at me. I kindly explained what I was doing on the sidewalk (not on her property mind you) and she sighed and smiled in relief because another neighbor called to report “a woman is dancing in your flower garden.”
